A nice discovery; a post from Flatlander at False 45th up in beautiful Montpelier, VT. I could write volumes on how much I love VT, but I will spare us all for now. There was a time when I would make the NYC->Burlington drive almost once a month and goddamn did I love that easterly drive from the New York border into the heartland of lush green and blue. They have skies like no other up there. Good food.
Speaking of “up there.” Ryan is currently off up in the Finger Lakes Region on a great adventure participating in the pinot harvest. I know he took his camera so hopefully we’ll get a few pics and some words describing the joys of spending a few days hand-picking grapes. Knowing how much Ryan enjoys partaking of that purple stuff, I know he’ll give the task the requisite love and care. The future of this wine is in good hands.
Finally, we have one more show before we leave for a few weeks: this Saturday at Rockwood Music Hall. 10pm. Free

Hey guys,
Thanks for the link. I’m glad you liked it.
I’m linking to your site again today for my post about NEMO. Unfortunately, I’m not getting down to Boston until Saturday. So, I’m going to miss your set.
But since you like VT, hopefully you’ll get to play a VT show one of these days. The best venue up here is Higher Ground. Here’s the address for the guy who books the shows there: alex@highergroundmusic.com
If not, maybe I’ll catch a Mugs show in Montreal or Boston some day. Good luck with the tour.
